Welcome to the Rio Rancho Consortium

The Rio Rancho Consortium for Teacher Excellence was funded by the Fund for the Improvement of Education program to improve the teaching of math and science in New Mexico.

Our first project was development of tools to assess students' progress in meeting the Process Performance Benchmarks from the New Mexico Standards and Benchmarks. These will be available for free download soon.

Our second project was development of an organizing tool to assist middle school teachers in developing curriculum and lessons that would support the NM Standards and benchmarks. They are available for download by clicking on the “Middle School Standards Alignment Assistant” button.

Our third project is a Summer Science and Math Bootcamp for 2 or more member teams of K-8 public or BIA teachers in Belen, Bernalillo, Cuba, Jemez Valley, Los Lunas, Moriarty, Rio Rancho, and Socorro. We're very excited to announce that the Bootcamp is full and has a waiting list.
