Minnick & Associates Confidentiality Policy |
Minnick and Associates,
Inc. requires all employees to familiarize themselves with the company
policy on confidentiality of information and the Family Educational
Record Privacy Act (FERPA), 34 C.F.R., Part 99 as a condition of
employment. The following office policy regarding educational records
provides specific protocols for data collection and dissemination
in accordance with the regulations of FERPA.
Access to Data Records
- Employees of Minnick and Associates, Inc. are the only individuals
with access to the data records on file.
- Minnick and Associates, Inc. employees must read the FERPA regulations
and sign a confidentiality agreement stating they understand their
application to their work.
- All computers with data records are protected by a firewall
to prevent any outside access to information.
Data Records in the Office
- Paper copies of data records containing any confidential information
are shredded as soon as their purpose is fulfilled.
Reporting of Data
- Minnick and Associates, Inc. only reports data that does not
contain any personally identifiable information. All evaluation
and reporting follows the guidelines established by the Joint
Committee for Standards in Educational Evaluation in 1994.
- In reporting data, Minnick and Associates, Inc. never report
cell sizes where the number is less than 10.
